Niche Devil Experiment Update

Ok, the short of it – Vic is not bullshitting with this software. It’s good, very good – in the right hands. But it’s NOT for beginners. No way in hell. Sure, it’s easy to setup a ND site. It’s not easy keeping Google from fucking banning you and it’s not easy to get your sites indexed. So far, I have about 130 sites up. I’ve bought another 100 domains which I have been trying to get up, but I’ve a few social obligations interfering the past couple days. I’m going to work up to 200, then stop and send digg/BMS links to every ND site. I don’t have every one of my ND sites tracked via stat counter, only the first 20. Of those 20, I’d say 10 are indexed and brining in longtail traffic.
This is good – this trickle traffic is exactly what I’m looking for. If each ND site can bring in 2-6 people a day, over 500 of these will add up to thousands of targeted search traffic each day – and with the 7 day ebay cookie, you are going to get sales, probably a fair amount of them. Even if you dont make sales (HIGHLY unlickly), you still get clicks — hopefully a few hundred a day at least, and these clicks give you money, since ebay multiples them against the qualigy score variable. Right now, 200 clicks for me equals 13 bucks, but I have a shit quality score right now. If I make a sale, those 200 clicks could be 50,80,100 bucks ore more. To be honest, I don’t understand how ebay really tallies their totals — I get a brain freeze trying to understand it.
Now, the problem is that these damn ND things don’t want to get indexed. the default ping option does jack right now in terms of getting your sites indexed.
Right now, Google is at open war with ND sites. I suspect a Google engineer purchased Vic’s software and took a look to see how to track the default template on these things. If you guys want to have a hope in hell of keeping your sites indexed, you better change every template to a unique footprint. Every single one of my next 350 will have a unique footprint to maximize their chance of survival.
Since I only have a handful, I’ve only gotten a few clicks. I think I’ve gotten about 20 ebay affiliate clicks so far. No sales, but this has bumped up my click total and made me about 4 bucks. Not going to retire. But I really need to see what happens with ALL my sites getting indexed and trickle traffic – right now, it’s hard to tell anything.
Word on the street is that if you have buying keywords in the domain/title/headers on a .info site, google flags it for a manual inspection. So better go with generic terms at this point.
I’ve also started a new challenge on the side, last week that’ going amazingly well. Enter

300 Adsense Sniper blogs in 60 Days Challenge

This is going to be my best and biggest challenge yet folks. And the money I’m going to make is going to make my Hubpage or Info Barrel challenge earnings pale.
I’m going to state right now, my aim is to make 200-500 bucks a day with these. And based off what I’m seeing with my experiment, this is very possible.  Now, I want to really explore what best works. So challenge will have three parts:
1. 100 Self Hosted Wordpress Blogs (new domains)
2. 100 Self Hosted Wordpress Blogs (preowned domains)
3. 100 Blogger Blogs

I want to see how much better preowned domains perform over new domains – I suspect they will get ranked much faster. The reason is that domain age is a BIG part of google’s search engine ranking formula. By purchasing a preowned domain 3+ years old, you can get a leg up right from the get go. They are a bit more expensive, usually about 10-12 bucks after you buy one, but the advantages should be worth it – I hope.
Blogger blogs. I’m going to step in Grizzly’s shoes for a bit with these blogs. I’ve noticed that blogger blogs rank for shit ( at least initially) compared to self hosted blogs. Now, with good backlinks, they rank fine, but initially, they don’t. I find self hosted blogs pull tickle traffic within a few days or weeks, but I have not had too much luck with blogger blogs getting as much traffic. If I find I can use blogger blogs to make good money, hell, I’ll switch over from self hosted in a flash. Domain fees suck.
I’ve been struggling whether to go all out and detail all my Internet Marketing methods or to start to mask what I do – i.e. leaving out the guts of my strategies. I’ll talk about the general strategies and techniques insofar as I’m able too, but I’m going to mask the gritty details.
The problem is, this blog has become WAY too public for my tastes. I’m getting 1K+ traffic a day (nothing too spectacular, I know, but the blog is only a couple months old). I’m sure Google is probably reading what I’m writing as well. You won’t find any of the big wigs spending time publically talking about their strategies or methods anymore. There is a good reason why folks – they’ve lost a LOT of money because of that, both from Google closing loopholes or people sabotaging networks, etc.
I’ve come to the conclusion that if I publically talk about “how” I make money, I’m going to get people trying to copy my sites, methods, or maybe even closer scrutiny from Google. And folks, remember that Internet Marketing is my “job” but teaching you guys is not. I am not getting paid by any of you to teach, so I’m not going to risk my income to help people for free. My earnings soley come from niche blogging, not from MMO blogging.
The thing is, there are many desperate people here who have been taking what I know and using it against me. I’ve had a huge problem with copiers in the past and frankly, I don’t see how it personally benefits me to give out any more of my strategies, helping lazy people make money off my efforts and ideas.
I love helping people, but, I’ve been losing money because of some people. I’ll still go over some basic strategies and talk about some ideas, etc, but I’m NOT going to get into the nitty gritty – how I pick niches, layout sites, themes I use, my specific linking strategies to rank, tricks to pull in the money faster. That my friends is going to be up to you. But this is as it should be — you need to get out there work hard and TEST things to see what works. You can’t always have things always just handed to you on a plate guys.
I’ve learned the MOST not by reading how to make money (though when you first start, it’s useful) or being taught by anyone (though, if anyone showed me the ropes, it would have to be Grizzly who got me started), but by getting down and dirty creating sites and experiementing ON MY OWN. I can tell you right now that if I spent my time haunting MMO forums posting bullshit all day long, I would not be making the money I am right now.
I’ll still help where I can and answer some questions, but the days about giving away all my strategies to the public are gone.
Don’t worry, I’m not going to go the way of ProBlogger and give out absolute shit wrong information or like other blogs that “talk” about making money but don’t point anyone in any meaningful direction. But I’m going to keep some stuff to myself from now on.
So anyways, back to my 300 blogs in 60 days. I’m pretty damn good with making money with Adsense right now. So these Adsense snipers are the perfect opportunity to capitalize.
My Adsense snipers are the perfect Adsense killing machines. They can hone in on a longtail keyword. With the right sniper layout and the right sort of research, you can rank pretty fast and very high with some tricks. And by combining a made-for-Adsense style writing (but one that also delivers quality and useful information), you create a click-killing niche blog.
Now, the prevailing idea about making money with niche marketing is that you pick a niche with lower competition – competition that you think you can make take on by ranking in the top 5. This is a good strategy – one taught by Court in his Keyword Academy and Grizzly blogs. You can make money like this once you rank. The problem is, it can take months to reach this go. You are looking between 3 months to a year. Don’t get me wrong – this is a valid model of making money, but it’s not the only way. Not by far.
Can you make money faster with niche blogs? Yes, you can. I have. I’ve been creating a handful of these sites the past 5 days (to see the potential) and I’ve been making money right away. I’m earning about 20-30 USD a day with these. Keep in mind this is with a couple. I’m going full force into this method next week (after I get my ND sites done), looking at getting 4-7 Adsense sniper blogs up each day for 2 months.
Note: Now, I need to be clear here, there are some specific reasons why I am making money so fast with the few sniper sites I have. I don’t want anyone to get the idea that you can slap up a couple blogs/sniper sites and next day take home the bacon — in this case, I’ve been able to figure out a way to capitalize right away, but it’s certainly NOT going to be like this every time. And sniper site or not, depending on the niche, you DON’T rank right away. No matter what you do, you are at google’s mercy sometimes. I just want you to know that if you are creative, the “create 5 blogs and get backlinks for 6 months before making a dime” doesn’t have to apply.
Now, my goal is to make 1 buck a day with each blog with Adsense. With 300 blogs, that should equal about 300 bucks a day. And indeed, from my experiments, if you do everything just right, a buck a day is perfectly possible (probably a big big lowball). In fact, with only a handful I’m making 20+ bucks a day. So the potential is there. Obviously since I don’t have a zillion of these sites yet, I can’t make promises, but my initial “research attempt” had been very profitable indeed. I’ll talk more about these and give income updates (maybe a few income proof pictures).

Click Bank Snipers Update

On hold right now. I can make money with these, but right now, I see faster ways to make money. I’m going back to this one, and going to pick better niches and put up 100 sites, but I’m going to pump my Adsense earnings (on my own sites) first, then make a concerted effort. I’ve learned a lot from these, and I’m still actually throwing up a few here and there when I see an affiliate opportunity. But my next 100 is going to have to wait a few months, maybe sooner. I will let you know if one of my twenty sites actually makes a sale though. They should, in time.

Upcoming/Current Make Money Experiments

Here is a look at some of my upcoming make money online experiments
August/June
*300 Blogs in 60 Days (started, but going to official start as soon as ND are done, maybe Monday)
*500-1000 Niche Devil Sites (current)
August/September
*500 Ebay Hubs/Squidoo
I will be creating hubs targeted for only selling amazon/ebay affiliate products. I’ve seen some success with 30 or so hubs hawking some ebay products, but I feel there is money to be made with hundreds of these out there, all targeting hot products.
September+
*Create an Authority Blog or 3.
I’m Really looking forward to this. I’m going to dominate 3 competitive niches with a massive 300-500 focused article authority site in each. I’m going to pull out every SEO trick in the book to get these things ranked. My aim is to build 5k-10k a month authority sites here

Don’t Waste Your Time in Noob Forums

Sometimes I get people emailing me or asking me questions about why Ron Jeremy from the warrior triple XXXO factor said this and why I said this, etc. Guys, Ron Jeremy from warriorforms can go sell midget thongs for all I care. Most of these guys are complete bullshiters. The ONLY money they make are from you giving them your coin for their bullshit how to make money ebooks.
I NEVER go to warriorforums or any of those headless chicken noobfest forums. Why? Because it’s a waste of my time. Why do I want a guy making 50 bucks a month answering my question like he’s some sort of guru, when I’m making 100x what he is? Exactly. And don’t get me started on all the bullshit GURU’s giving advice there, preying on the noobs looking for easy money. Places like that are simply virtual stages were fake gurus put on some smarmy performance to reel in the noobs.
The problem is, most people out there want a quick fix. What do you thing sells better as a title:
‘How to Make 30k in 3 Days While Getting a Massage from Pretty Thai Girls”
or
“How to Make Money By Locking Yourself into Your Room and Working 20 hours a day for 6 months”
Yea, I don’t think that’ one needs an answer. The problem is, the second title has more truth — a LOT more truth. Repeat this one after me guys: “there is no way to make money online without work.” Any sort of program that offers this, is a lie. There are people always looking for the next “thing” the next “WSO” that will guarantee you make money fast. If you are onto your WSO #5 and you still haven’t made money, maybe you better bash your head into a few walls to knock some sense into your head.

The Key to Making Money Online: Commitment

You may wonder why I’m making money right now with whatever I do. It’s because I have passion. I don’t take up a project and go half way – I commit my soul to it. If someone wants does 10 sites, I do 100. If someone does 100, I make 1000. That is how to make money folks. I work 10 times harder than anyone else. And you know what, during this process, I learn a lot of things — things that help me make money.
I see a lot of you newbie Internet Marketers get caught up with following the latest money making craze. Guys, this is a huge mistake. You see someone who knows exactly what to do to make money make a lot of money in a short period of time and you decide because they are making money, well you are going to as well. That’s fine, but you chase after the latest craze every damn month or week.
The reason why is that you don’t commit to something. You create a handful of blogs, maybe 50 Hubpages, a couple infobarrels, and wonder why you’ve only made a couple bucks in a week. Even worse, you see someone else making money with some other strategy so you abandon your previous attempt to try something new.
This yo-yoing around is the perfect way how NOT to make money online guys. You want to make money, here’s the formula I follow:
1. Pick a proven methods (people you trust make money wit it)
2. Put your heart and soul into it
3. Work like someone has a gun pointed to your head
There we go. Simple, isn’t it. Most of you end up failing on all three points. You pick a method, but you don’t’ commit. Big surprise why you then make fuck all. Or you pick a strategy, get all excited, start working for a few days/weeks but when you see the monstrous size of the work ahead, you give up. Or maybe you do start working on it but you don’t actually “work.” You spend most of your time chatting with other newbies about how to make money online or the best methods, or participate in conversations with no fucking idea what the fuck you are talking about.
It’s fun to talk about MMO with people – I get that, I’m guilty of that. This is a business where connections are key – befriend people left and right, they will help you in the future. But seriously people, it’s fucking pointless talking about making money online. Talk is cheap guys, it’s actions that speak. Instead of spending your life whining online about how you are not making money online, or discussing MMO strategies, maybe you should actually spend that time trying to MAKE MONEY ONLINE. Get it?
If you are not spending 95% of your “work time” writing content, creating sites, doing keyword research, or getting backlinks, then there is something fucking wrong with your work schedule. Fix it and you may find, magically, you fix that big fat 0 in your daily Adsense balance. Just a suggestion.
You will find that once you start to make money, it all just makes sense. It seems impossible at first, a dollar here, a dollar there, 5 dollars here, and 10 dollars there, but before you know it, the money is following. You make nothing at first and often for months and month, but once the  trickle of money begins, it really flood in.
You see, making money is about confidence. Confidence comes from a history of success. Once you KNOW you are making money – not Grizzly making money, not Ben making money, not Jim making money, but YOU making money – you gain confidence. YOu can approach an internet marketing project knowing that you can make money – even if you don’t make money right away. So work your ass off and you’ll see those results. Those results will give you confidence.
If asked the question above, what would you say the answer is? Is it:
a) A lens with a focal length greater than 200mm?
b) A lens which can change it's focal length?
c) A lens whose physical length is less than the focal length?

I expect most of you will go for answer "A" but you'd be wrong. In real terms, anything with a focal length over 200mm is termed a telephoto lens in common parlance...but, there is a clue in the fact that you often find lenses shorter than 200mm refered to as telelphotos. So what are they talking about?

Well, the answer lies in techie talk.

According to the Canon Lens Work book, a telephoto lens is defined as follows:
With general photographic lenses, the overall length of a lens (the distance from the apex of the front lens element to the focal plane) is longer than its focal length. This is not usually the case with lenses of particularly long focal length, however, since using a normal lens construction would result in a very large unwieldy lens. To keep the size of such a lens manageable while still providing a long focal length, a concave (negative) lens assembly is placed behind the main convex (positive) lens which is shorter than its focal length. Lenses of this type are called telephoto lenses. In a telephoto lens, the second principal point is located in front of the frontmost lens element.

Translated into simple terms, a telephoto lens is one that has a physical length (from the front lens element to the the focal plane) which is less than its stated focal length.

BLACK HAT SEO TECHNIQUES YOU CAN USE ETHICALLY

Black hat SEO is both a myth and a reality we have to face sooner or later as SEO practicioners. While I abide by probably one of the strictest SEO codes of ethics around and SEOptimise is a clean white hat SEO company company itself we still can’t deny that there is black hat SEO.
The sheer existence of black hat SEO techniques must be acknowledged for several reasons.
As Rishi Lakhani noted on his new SEO blog: You need it at least to know what to avoid or to know how competitors who perform worse than you still manage to outrank your site.
The good news is: Most black hat SEO techniques can be used in a clean, ethical white hat way as well.
They are like knives: You can slice bread with a knife but you can kill with it as well. It’s your decision how you use the knife. Also consider the problem with overall perception of the SEO industry. Your hat can be whiter than snow and still people will treat you as the guy with the virtual knife.
Personally I think black hat SEO is for the weak.
The black hat logic goes: When you can’t win the game you have to cheat. It’s the same dilemma as in sports though: When everybody cheats how are you going to win? That’s why reputable and successful SEO experts don’t have to use it.
OK, long story short, here are the 30 black hat techniques you can use ethically as well. Take note how I am explaining only the positive way of using each technique. I do not advocate the use of it in it’s original black hat context. Use these knives as kitchen knives:

Siri: iPhone 4S’ killer feature or utter failure?

When Apple introduced the iPhone 4S a couple of weeks back, we said it wasn’t a big of an upgrade as we wanted it to be (see: Why we’re disappointed there’s no iPhone 5). There were dissenting opinions, of course, stating that Siri — the Personal Assistant, is its killer feature.

I had my reservations with Siri and kept judgement until we’ve finally seen it first hand. Aside from that, there’s also the issue with the speed of our local networks.

So here’s a sample of that killer feature from Siri.

Looks like Siri will not work if you’re outside the US (Siri uses services like Places, Yelp and WolframAlpha). So if Siri is one of your biggest reasons to get the iPhone 4S, you might just be disappointed.
At least Apple gave it some sense of humor.

21 Proven Ways To Make Money Online

If your looking for ideas to make money online with the Internet and your computer you will definitely have some options to choose from. At the end of this post on my blog I offer readers to add a URL pointing toward an opportunity to generate income online.

While I can't guarantee they will be legitimate, it should give you a place to start. Many of us have seen the stories of college students cashing in with some great idea for making money online. While not every "packaged" idea to make money online will net these same results, its a place to begin.

Some general ways to earn income with your computer follow:
AdSense ads on you site. This can generate income, however you will need some traffic.
AdWords ads on you site. Some people generate opt-ins or leads then turn around and sell them for a profit. This can make money for you while you continue to develop a strategy.
Become an affiliate marketer. Find companies that will share their profits with you when a visitor from you site buys a product or service.
You can Blog for dollars. Create a blog around a particular niche, sell AdSense and build a customer base that clicks on the ads you have placed around your site.
Write articles. Other people will sometimes use article you have written to improve or add to content already on their site. Make sure the content is good and submit the article to article submission sites.
You could develop one of these catchy "tricks" that a buzz can be created about. Like the million dollar web page I saw the other day.
You could sell stuff on eBay.
You could buy and then sell stuff on eBay. I have no idea about this. Maybe someone can shed some light on that.
You could sell e-books. Many people make money online with their computer by selling e-books about topics that relate to their website.
You could start a home based business. There are many business opportunities that are great ways to put extra money in your pocket.
You could save money. Their are many ways to save money by doing things online. Saving money is much like making money.
You could ask for donations. People ask others to contribute to a worthy cause. You could then allow someone to match a sizable amount of money if you agree to feature their site on your home page.
You could consult. If you have a unique area of expertise you could leverage your knowledge to earn some extra income online.
You could be a problem solver. And get known as a person who will know the answer to particular problems that arise online. This is always a good way to find yourself in a money making situation.
You could do SEO. There are many people who are willing to spend money on search engine optimization. Especially the technical stuff. (off page)
You could connect people with people who can earn money by working together.
You could find stuff online. Say some wants a certain kind of wheel barrow. You find it on eBay or a classified and let them know. Mark it up and make a profit from your living room.
You could find a type at home opportunity.
You could do bookkeeping work online and get paid for it.
You could trade stocks. Not sure here. But you can find a way to get started online.

Over the next few weeks I will extrapolate on these general ways to make money online. I will see if I can find experts who have had results in the areas I'm not so familiar with myself. If you have any ides you would like to add feel free. This is an example of a way to earn money online. While it may not make money immediately, I will be adding value to the market place and that is an absolute when it comes to making money online.

What is a link wheel exactly?

This is the one of the most efficient method to build quality back links through a Link wheel. It is the easiest ways to get free backlinks that are permanent, easy to create and niche-specific.
Link wheel Definition:-A link wheel is the newest SEO backlinks building method that involves creating multiple blog posts on multiple different sites and interlinking them in a wheel. You create the content; you create the site, giving you complete control of the niche of the site (no more blog comments on unrelated blogs). Anything that happens off your site is known as offsite SEO, and since links are coming from another site to your site, a link wheel is an offsite technique.
So how does a link wheel differ from any other link, and what’s the “wheel” part of the name? Link wheels are one of the most advanced SEO link building techniques out there right now.
A link wheel is the process of creating 12 or so (or sometimes up to 116) new blogs/micro sites on a particular topic. On each of those sites, you write 200 words of unique content, and include 1 link to your targeted site, and 1 link to one of your other blogs/micro sites.
Now the trick here and why link wheels are so effective is the new blogs and microsites we create are on sites like Hubpages.com, WordPress.com, Blogger.com, which are established, PR6, PR7, PR8 sites, and the subsequent blogs benefit from these attributes.
Also, by including a single link to each of our new sites, we are passing the value from one site to another, building up the value of each of our links. And since each of the links are only one-way, that is, site 1 links to site 5, but site 5 links to site 2, the link juice is passed to all of the sites, and not diminished by reciprocal linking (linking site 1 to 2, and 2 to 1).
The use of web 2.0 sites that links to your website, choose 4 to 6 web 2.0 famous websites with high rankings. These websites have good PR and traffic ranking; all are linking to your website. Choose different websites like blogger, wordpress, squidoo, yola, myspace, blogsome etc. And link them to your website with different keywords and phrases. Then post different articles on these websites using the targeted keywords, and update them regularly. You need to post different articles on each website, so that your articles do not have same content.
So we come to know that Link wheels are the new trend in SEO and use the power of Web 2.0 and distributed systems on different servers to help interlink properties and increase SERPs extremely quickly. As link wheels have become more popular, it’s important that you find the sites that haven’t turned their links into No follow.
An Example Link wheel
The link wheel picture to the right shows a number of popular Web 2.0 services. While in the past it has made sense to link from site 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and 10 to 1, this is a pattern that is very easy to pick up on by the search engines. So now the tradition is to do random linking to make the links look more natural and harder to pickup as a pattern:
Site 1 to 5
Site 2 to 3
Site 3 to 8
So for a typical link wheel you will have 1 hub and 12 spokes on the wheel. Each of the spokes links to each other, and all the spokes link to the hub. Using Web 2.0 sites, you can easily create your spokes, with your link wheel following this pattern. In this pattern, your hub site is the site you want to promote:
Linkwheel-example.-
Site 1 – Blogger: links to Site 2 WordPress and to Your Hub Site
Site 2 – WordPress: links to Site 3 Squidoo and to Your Hub Site
Site 3 – Squidoo: links to Site 4 WetPaint and to your Hub Site … etc.
Site 12 – EzineArticles: lines to Site 1 and to your Hub Site
Your link wheel would complete itself by the final site linking back to the first site, but never do you have a single site linking back to the same site it has already linked to. You want to avoid building reciprocal links as this is a sign of association/friendship etc. between two sites.
The reason a link wheel is so effective is it takes into account how Google’s search algorithm is built. It’s designed to promote sites like The New York Times or the Wall Street Journal to the top of the search rankings. The reason NYT ranks so well in Google is because there are so many blogs and sites linking to their articles, and all these links tell Google that the site is an authority on the web, hence rank them higher.
This same principle is applied using link wheels. Each link wheel spoke is an individual site, and with all of these sites linking to each other, each spoke gains 1 link of authority, and then all of these sites link back to your hub, giving your hub 12 links from other authority sites. So if you build a bigger link wheel, you can have 116 links back to your hub site, making your search engine rankings climb even faster.
A Big List of Sites for Link wheels
So if you’re looking to build your own link wheel, it’s really a simple process. You want to select the number of spokes in your link wheel, and then select your Web 2.0 sites.
Here is a good set of Web 2.0 sites to choose from:
Blogsome.com
Blogger.com
Squidoo.com
Wetpaint.com
WordPress.org
EzineArticles.com
VOX.com
Quizilla.com
Weebly.com
LiveJournal.com
HubPages.com
Onsugar.com
Prlog.org
Devhub.com
Yolasite.com
Terapad.com
Beep.com
Webnode.com
Viviti.com
Be sure to always use unique, high quality content in your link wheels, otherwise you run the risk of having the articles deleted by moderators.
Steps:
1. Create blogs on these domain and customize it according to your taste and niche (Please use the your keywords in Blog name and URL)
2. Populate it with relevant keyword rich text, which you did write for your keyword (Please make sure that content should unique and not used for article submissions).
3. Link your keywords internal and external web pages and blogs, please do not add more than 4 links in 300 words content, This will create a strong internal and external links for all blogs.
4. Most of the web 2.0 websites provide RSS feature. This feature will helps you to enhance blogs visibility.
5. Spider your blogs RSS feeds in your blogs please use 3 way RSS feed submission process. (e.g. include RSS feed of Blog 1 in Blog4, Blog 4 to Blog3….)
6. Submit your RSS feeds in all major RSS submission websites.
7. Submit your blogs to all major search engines, so that your main website start getting back links from your blogs.
8. Ping your blogs by using any free blog ping services e.g. www.pingomatic.com
9. Create a RSS feed of your website.
10. Now create twitter and twitterfeed accounts.
11. Create 3 to 4 accounts on social network websites.
12. Link your website RSS feeds with your twitter accounts, by doing this your twitter account will start populating with your website automatically.
13. Link your website RSS with social network websites and link your profiles with your twitter accounts.
14. Submit your twitter RSS to all RSS submission networks.
15. Keep updating your blogs and website with relevant content.
After about 2-3 weeks when your link wheel has been created, go back, and add some new content. Have a quick peek at Google News for your targeted keyword and add ~100 words of new content to the page. It also helps if you throw in a YouTube video or some additional content.
Once you’re done, ping your link wheel to one of the RSS sites, I like to use FeedPing.com, it has about 100 RSS sites, and can get the pinging done in about 5 minutes. You will see the major difference in traffic and SERP’s.
This will help Google pickup on your new sites, and update it accordingly.
Don’t Close Your Link Wheel
When constructing a link wheel, typically you would start at Site 1, and end at Site 12. Well instead of having Site 12 link to Site 1, make it chaotic.

Quality Backlinks: Why is my linkwheel backlinks is not yet counted?

What do you think about backlink? Backlink is a link word which is redirected to our website and it will be placed in other people’s sites. Backlink will be very important to increase your website or blog page rank. If you have high page rank, of course your blog or website will be placed in the first page of Seo Service result. That is the function of page rank and search engine.

If you Buy Linkwheel from porn site, gambling site, hacking site, spamming site, or linkfarm, your backlink will not be counted or it will get zero point. Making Money Online Shouldn't Be Hard

Why is it so hard to get started making money in the online world? There are so many ways to lose money while trying to learn these days. It is still possible to make money online, but it takes some money to do it, and it takes time. It really shouldn't be so hard to make money online. The biggest thing it takes is patience. Don't fall for the over night success stories out there. They are only trying to sell you something to help them succeed. If you put in the work you will get the traffic you need to make the sales online. Stick with it, write your daily articles, write your daily blogs, keep keywords in mind in everything you write, and the SEO and backlinks will eventually bring the traffic.
When a beginner starts out they are given a lot of false promises. Many times they are told "you will make money in 24 hours". Then they are given a money back guarantee. When I see that, it is a "no brainer". I think, "If I don't make money in 24 hours, I'll just get my money back. Then they are told, there will be no up sell, this is all you have to do, buy their product, follow their instructions, and then money will pour in. They show you this, on their screen. After you buy their product, they say, but wait, if you want more money, buy this more expensive product. If you don't buy it they make you feel as if you won't make the money in 24 hours unless you buy the more expensive product. They tell you will still make money, just not as much and not as fast. Once you get the product, you try it and find that they are right. You might make money, but it wont be in 24 hours, and it wont be much. It makes me think one of two things, either I made a mistake not buying the more expensive product, or I made a mistake buying this at all.
Now, don't get me wrong, there are honest guys out there that will help the beginner. But there are a whole lot more guys out there just trying to make another dollar off the newbies. Much of what is taught after the money is paid, can be found in many free places. There are blogs, and training sites out there. I know of at least one that offers free video training. They also have things for sale to help you, but they offer the teaching up for free front. I like that, it builds trust. If you want to make a sale, work on getting the traffic. If you want to keep making sales, you need to be a site that people trust. I don't just go to Kroger because they have the best price, they don't all of the time. I go because I know the quality of product is good. I go because I know where to find everything. I go because the people are friendly. And now, I go because they recognize me. You want return customers, then recognize them, through emails, or free things that make them want to come to your site.
So as I have said, making money online shouldn't be hard. It only is because the sharks out there make it look as if you should be making thousands over night, when the reality is the thousands come when you have the established traffic, the quality product to sell, the return customers, and an honest respected history.

How to Build Massive Back Links Without Appearing as a Spammer

I am in the business of researching profitable niches, cranking out niche sites, marketing them until they reach cruise control and then leaving them alone to float in cyberspace and print passive and residual income for me over time.

For any niche site to reach cruise control, it needs a steady flow of significant traffic.

The single best way to ensure that happens is by engaging in effective backlink building.

Recently, I took two brand new niche sites that targeted similar keywords in terms of search demand and competition and applied two different backlink building strategies to measure one’s success over the other.

As a result, I further reinforced my theory on how to build mass back links effectively without appearing as a spammer to the search engine police.

Here is a high level synopsis of the experiment and related results:
Site A

I created 10 unique articles and submitted them to hundreds of article directories using an article spinner software program, with backlinks pointing directly to my site’s home page, as well as 10 different webpages within the website (deep linking approach).

Each article submitted contained two links: one to the home page, and one to a specific webpage within the website.

Both links had two different underlying anchor texts, each of which was relevant and corresponded to the webpage linked to.

After 6 weeks of testing, site A currently ranks on page 14 of Google.
Site B

I created 5 unique articles and submitted them to 5 different article directories online manually with backlinks pointing directly to my site’s home page, as well as 5 other webpages within the website.

Similar to Site A, each article submitted contained two links: one to the home page, and one to a specific webpage within the website.

Similarly, both links had two different underlying anchor texts, each of which was relevant and corresponded to the webpage linked to.

I then created 5 more unique articles and submitted them to hundreds of article directories using the same article spinner software program that I used to market Site A with, with backlinks pointing directly only to the 5 original submissions I had made to the article directories manually.

After 6 weeks of testing, site currently ranks on page 3 of Google.
What are the Niches?

Before I go further, let me address a question you might be thinking about.

Why am I not disclosing the niche?

While there are plenty of niche sites I own I disclose on my blog, there are a few that I keep confidential because:

1) the profitability is significant (ex: high Google Adsense payout on terms) or

2) the niche is narrow enough that one additional competitor can significantly impact its profitability for me.

I am sure you can understand and appreciate that.
The Velocity of Link Building

So why are the results so drastically different after 6 weeks of testing?

My theory is the velocity of backlink building with Site A was far too aggressive relative to the method utilized to promote Site B.

Since both my websites are relatively new, search engines may have found it not so natural for a “baby” site (Site A) to suddenly amass massive quantities of back links brought to it from automated mass submissions (hundreds of sites submitted to and therefore tons of immediate incoming links).

Site B, on the other hand, was a more subtle, natural looking approach.

The initial 5 articles that linked back to Site B were submitted to highly credible and well ranked article directories, thus bringing in 5 unique links from 5 different sources.

However, the mass link building effort using the submission software brought in hundreds of links back to each of those 5 sources rather than directly to my website.

Though I have no further concrete evidence to present at this time, it is my belief that this method appears more natural because it is more so “believable” to search engines that already popular and highly credible article directories and web 2.0 sites (i.e HubPages, Ezine Articles) can generate tons of links immediately when compared to a brand new website that was establish just 6 weeks ago.

This is classic Page Rank Juice Flow at its best.
What are the Long Term Effects?

So will Site A eventually catch up to Site B over time?

Only time will tell, and I will certainly provide updates if I notice anything drastic or worthwhile sharing.

I know that a couple of years back both strategies may have provided equal results.

In fact, Site A may have outranked Site B.

I don’t know why – I am not sure how sophisticated the search engines were back then? But I clearly now know what works today.
Link Building Marketing Takeaway

What’s the  lesson to be learned from the experiment?

DO NOT link directly to your website and its webpages aggressively when your website is in its infancy.

Rather, link to it once from a popular source, and then link back aggressively to that source.

This is a very common mistake new internet marketers make, thinking gobs of traffic to their site is just around the corner.

Again, the mechanics of how and why things work the way they do are merely my theory, but the results are clearly evident and such a theory would support those results.

Hope you found this information helpful and practical enough to implement in your internet marketing initiatives.es

How to Make Money Online Quickly

The Story of Dorris and Dofus

Today, I wanted to tell you the tale of two internet marketers, Dorris and Dufus. These two new marketers decided they were going to find a path to a full time income by each creating 100 sites. Dorris decided to go after keywords that had barely any competition in off the wall niches while Dufus decided that he had the “cure for cancer” up his sleeve and knew the best “acne treatments”.

After two months of building sites, Dorris finds she’s making 40 dollars a day while Dufus, despite the fact that he has an incredible wealth of knowledge to share about cancer, skin care and Obama loans, is only make a few pennies a day.

Does this sound familiar? If you have been working at this game (and I mean real work) for several months are getting Dufus’s results, I can tell you right now folks, there are probably two things you are doing wrong: you are picking niches that have TOO much competition or/and you are picking the wrong niches

I don’t dispute that going after high paying competitive niches can pay off in the end. BUT, you better be willing to sell your soul to the gods of backlinking for a year or two OR have a powerful personal network to help aid your ranking.

If you don’t, you are going to try ranking your sites very hard for three months, then give up when you find that your 10-year old niece made more money selling lemonade on a Monday than you did with 4 months of Internet Marketing.

It’s possible to make money online QUICKLY (as in a few weeks or months) if you do your keyword research right. Impossible right? You need months of hardcore backlinking to make money, right? Dozens of pages of content? Google holy water blessed by Matt Cutts? Nope, nope, nope, and definitely fucking not.

Let’s talk about something called the .50 a day site. Not a lot of glory, but they can make you consistent money en bulk. Everyone wants a single 3k a month site. I imagine it’s nice. You can call up your dad and say “Gee Dad, I’ve got this cool website that makes me 3k a month. I’m balling. Now I can wear midget thongs and watch Hero reruns all day AND get paid for it.” Good for you and I hope you like Heroes, because I sure don’t.

But you see, golly geez, it actually takes you a lot of god damn work to make a couple thousand dollars a month with a single site. Unless you seriously luck out with your keyword search, you might be looking at thousands of backlinks and 6 months to a year of work.

But our little modest .50 a day sites can make money faster. You see. .50 a day ain’t a lot. But when you times that by 100 or 200, all the sudden you have an income.

I’m not saying this is the only way to make money. But if you want to make money online sooner then later, you need to stop looking at the sky and start looking at the ground.

Now, I’m not saying if you want to pick out 10 paying keywords in competitive niches and play SEO for 6 months or a year that you can’t make oodles of money. You can, and Internet Marketers with a lot of experience (and the networks to back them up) do this. But if you are not a star SEO, an experienced marketer, or some young backlinking hotshot, you’re going to find it’s not that easy to rank those 10 sites for acne, obama loans, and make money online niches.

I’m also not arguing that spending a lot of time on a few authority sites is not the way to go long term. I’d love to have a nice harem of authority sites that earn me thousands of dollars each, but alas, that’s not going to be for a couple years.

You can look at going deep to make money (authority, lots of backlinks) or you can go wide (lots of little sites). Ideally, you want a mix of both. But if you have to choose between the two, I’d say go very fucking wide, build up a full time income, then dig down deep.

I’ve realized that for people to succeed with making money online, they need to see some results. It can be pretty damn rough spending a year working hoping in a pie-in-the-sky sort of way that you will make money. But if you start to see results, you are going to more likely bust your ass even harder, which will help you earn more.

Because no doubt people will be asking for me to write a tutorial on “how to make .50 cents a day with a niche blog”, here are eight points:

1. Get Exact Keyword Domains

2. Don’t be afraid of very low exact searches

3. Don’t trust google keyword tool CPC – it lies big time. .05 cpc could give .50 clicks and $80 could give .05 clicks.

4. Create between 50-100 domains

5. Have 5 posts of targeted, well written, helpful content on each site

6. PICK NICHES THAT OTHER MARKETERS DON’T HIT

7. Use the most god awful ugliest theme you can find

8. Pay pal me $100 – VERY IMPORTANT OTHERWISE YOU WON’T MAKE ANY MONEY!!!

Well, I lied about #8, sorry.

It’s important that you guys pick niches that aren’t the weightloss, health, skincare, dating that every other IM loves to spam. There is money in these niches, yes. But a lot of competition too. Competition, guys, means it’s a lot harder to get your pages RANKING high enough to get traffic. However, you will have to experiment for yourself. But there are a lot of niches out there that don’t have to do with getting rid of bad skin, losing fat in 30 days, finding Obama loans, and guessing the color of Britney’s underwear.

There are millions of untapped niches guys. Many of these are easy to rank for. Which means you get traffic fast and, if the audience is receptive, clicks.
Adsense Sniper Progress

Ok, so how are these snipers doing? Well, I’ve been working on backlinks for the past 3 weeks (cough…i mean for 5 days) and I only have about 1/10 actually backed up.

snipers

As you can see, my earnings have gone up, somewhat. Maybe not dramatically, but I’m breaking 100’s often and sometimes did deep into the next hundred. Average  is almost at 100 bucks a day. A full time income right there. Now, in about a month and a half I probably put up an additional 40 sites and I was doing some other things and in the process of quitting my job.The past 3 weeks, I’ve also done almost fuck all, so definetly not as much progress as I could have had put putting 3 weeks of real work into these.

However, I’ve finally started do SEO work on every single one of the snipers. I’m currently at 12 out of 105 (started past week). I’m hoping to god I can be done with the 105 by the end of this month, but I don’t have my hopes that high. It might take a few more weeks after the end of the month. Once I’m done, I’m going back and picking out the top 5-10 sites that I fee can earn 20-60 bucks a day, and will spend a solid month building backlink networks for each site. This should drastically jump up my earnings. We should see a pretty big increase in my earnings as I will only be backlinking these snipers over the next 2 weeks to a month. It may be early to make predictions, but I’d like to see these sites, after I finish the initial backlinking run on all 105, doing about 200 (6k a month) in adsense a day, though I’d LOVE to see 300 a day (9k a month). When I pick out the 5-10 winners and do some real SEO work on them for a month, I may be able to get another 100-200 bucks a day out of the snipers. Now, these are some heavy predictions…200-500 bucks a day from these sites, but based on what I’ve seen, very possible. But, we’ll see how it goes.

After these 105 are done, I’m going to do another 100. I may do 100 ebay snipers before I do another 100 adsense snipers, just to diversify. We’ll see how that goes.

Making Money Online the Right Way

Hubpages Concluded

Adsense earnings have taken off again. I’ve thought long and hard about the fact that I’m publishing my earnings and I don’t think it’s a good idea anymore for many obvious reasons. Besides every lazy fuck in the world directly trying to copy my niches every time I post my earnings and Google’s every increasing watchful eyes, I’m getting pretty damn paranoid.

After this, I won’t talk about what I’m making with Hubpages directly or post anymore shots of my Adsense. The fact that I have nicely shown people you can make money with Hubpages has already been causing me a lot of grief – so much grief, I was actually considering shutting this site down completely yesterday. I decided to keep it open because Grizzly has pretty much abandoned his blogs (it seems). And I can see exactly why.

I suppose two years of that was enough for him. I’ve been giving out valuble information that works and can make money, and I’m getting screwed over for it in a big way. Even worse, I’m not even getting paid to be screwed over. For every 100 people you spend your time helping, there are 5 assholes wanting to screw you. 95% of the people might be swell, but there is always some destitute person from punngidabistan who only want’s to put make enough so he doesn’t have to spent 18 hours working in a factory producing some nike shoes. Well, I understand the problem; but the problem is, he’s stealing my fucking 18 hours of work to lessen his — and I’m the one whose done all the real work.

I posted this against my better judgment because there are a lot of people who have lost their jobs or are going through financial difficulties. I want to give these people some hope that, yes, even if you are not seeing results, work your ass off and don’t give up, results will come. If you approach making money only on instant results, you will get disillusioned and fail. Why, because it isn’t so clear cut. Some people can find instant results, some people take longer – much longer.

I used to work on a farm. A farmer does not plant a single seed, or even a handful of seeds, and expect an instant crop. No, the farmer throws down vast quantities of seed and waits patiently. You never know what type of harvest you are going to get. Yes, one seed may really produce something special, other times it takes many seeds to get a decent crop. Sometimes, nothing pops up. But you can’t plant a couple seeds and expect a crop, and you certainly can’t expect instant results. These things take time to develop.

I set up on my goal to make a full time income from Hubpages May 15th. And I have accomplished my goal with Hubpage earnings shooting far above $100 USD a day. So please people, no more questions about doing hubpages this way because Jack D says this or doing them this way because James T said that. I’m making a lot of money with Hubpages and I doubt anyone else out there on the web can match me in terms of hub revenue. I can confidently say that I know exactly what I’m talking about when it comes to earning with hubs. It’s all there for free in my blogs guys. Apply what I suggest and you can make money too. I did and am.

So, I won’t be talking any more about Hubpages from now on. I think I’ve said all I want to say on the subject. What’s in the future? I’m going to be taking my Hubpage earnings beyond what anyone may think possible – but I’m not going to talk about it publically from now on. Just to a select group of friends.

I’m also going to spend some significant time investing in other platforms like Info barrel, Squidoo, blogger blogs, and my own self hosted blogs. I’m also going to be spending a lot of time master affiliate selling, since you can easily make more money than Adsense if you do it right. Diversity is guy guys, never forget that. Spend at least 50% of your time developing your own properties/other platforms other than Hubpages.

If you don’t know already, ebay has banned people from using affiliate links to ebay from all sites that you won. That means you can no longer use Hubpages, Squidoo (it’s still out where Squidoo is included), info barrel, blogger blogs, Twitter to market eBay products. Guys, it goes without saying that there are people who are losing their shirts right now because they ONLY have mini sites with ebay affiliate links.

What did I say about not having all your eggs in one basket? What did I say about NOT trusting your livelihood to one source? Why the fuck am I making an attempt to master affiliate selling and creating my OWN sites. Because when you use a 3rd party they have their hand resting on your balls (sorry ladies). If they start to squeeze, you’re going to squeal long and hard.
Content is King or Crap?

Both actually. Ok, here’s the deal. I’ve been harping that you should write for Adsense, and it’s true. If you are making small time earnings, then you probably need every click you can get. But writing crap will get you crap in the end.

Yes, I know, why am I now telling you this especially after posting that content was crap. Well, the difference was, I wasn’t making almost 5k a month in Adsense earnings.

That’s a pretty big difference.

That also means I have to be very very careful what I say here on this blog. A lot of my SEO friends have gone under the radar – Grizzly has abandoned his blogs and people I know are getting deindexed left and right.

I make 0 money from this blog and I don’t really rank for any MMO terms. I should be getting far more search traffic than I am, but I have a sneaky suspicion Google has sandboxed this blog because of my content and associate with Grizzly.

I certainly cannot make any money from this site via Google. And frankly, there is no way in hell I am slapping my Adsense onto this blog even if I was ranking high. So, I’m not going to risk my financial future by getting bitch slapped around by Google.

Back when the only person who knew about my blog was me and…me, I could get away with saying those things. But now, I’m pretty sure Google is watching what I’m saying. I’d rather not wake up to find my Adsense account banned and all my sites deindexed. So if that means I have to eat a bit of crow and tell you to write quality content, so be it.

Folks, the more money I make, the more I see it’s about the bigger picture. Sure you can get your hand all dirty trying to climb out of the mud and clean yourself off after, but I think it’s better for the long term to keep yourself squeaky clean. This has especially become apparent now that I have close to 700 web properties and soon will have thousands in the next couple months.

Google’s goal is to satisfy the needs of the searcher. If you write drivel, yes, it’s possible to get that drivel onto the front page and score insane amounts of clicks as people try to get the fuck out or your site. But the problem is, when a Google Engineer visits, they won’t be clicking on an ad, they’ll be clicking the fucking deindex button.

Every article your write, try to deliver value to your visitors. Give them something they are looking for – it’s doesn’t have to be the whole deal, but enough that you are offering some value. All my web properties are like that, but I’m going to be working extra hard to make sure everything can pass a visual. When I was sitting with a couple bucks a day with my Adsense, that wasn’t a bit deal. But with close to $150 Adsense days, and potential some 300-500 Adsense days in a few months, I want to be so squeaky clean, Google can see their own reflection in the mirror.

I know I was going to talk about Blackhat technique, auto blogs, etc, but I’m going to X all that. This is going to be a white hat blog only, and I’m only going to teach you guys sustainable methods that won’t fuck you up in the long run.
Think Big, Get Big. Think Small, Be Fucking Small

One of the things that disturbs me in the IM world is how small people think. People think in terms of a couple dozen sites when they should be thinking hundreds – or thousands. Folks, I’m thinking thousands.

Guys, you need to expand your horizons. I don’t care if you’re a housewife who’s never been to college. It doesn’t take college or education to make you imaginative and to have great ideas.

Frankly, I have three degrees in different fields (well, 2 and ¾ of the third) and I’ve been at university for 9 years. I think it was a waste of time. So you don’t have to be educated to think “big.” You just need to have some imagination.

One thing that I notice is there’s a heard mentality. Everyone wants to follow the latest craze. Everyone one wants to follow some Guru. I see it all the time. Guru Jack is doing this, so we should do this too. Big Joe is making 4k a month doing this, so we should do that.

You have to find your own way of doing things. Sure you may fail, but you may not. And you may discover something completely new.

I’ve learned everything I know from Grizzly, but my methods are radically different. I’m not doing what he does exactly, and I never will. And nether should you.

Don’t get caught up in someone’s method or someone strategies guys. There are a million and one different ways to make money one the way, and a million different paths to each goal. Learn as much as you can about all aspects of IM: Adsense marketing, affiliate marketing, niche blogging, domain flipping, PPC, etc. The more you know, the better off you will be. Don’t pigeon hole yourself into a single “formula” or method. Use and adapt, adapt and evolve. That’s they key to making money online.

If you only follow the path someone lays out for you and never deter, you limit yourself. Take what people teach you and run with it. But make it your God damn own method. I don’t want to train followers here; I want to train leaders – people who will pioneer new ways to do things. New ways to make money. This is why I follow the blackhat community somewhat – if at a distance, of course. Because they are constantly on the offensive, pioneering new ways to screw money out of Google. A blackhatter that doesn’t evolve, is a blackhatter that’s broke.

Too many people in the IM world claim a hill and sit on it, failing to look beyond for a bigger mountain to tackle. They don’t realize that a mountain is never stable, never solid. Mountains shift constantly, growing or shrinking. If you sit one and don’t keep climbing, you may find it starts to sink on you. Always aim upward.

I want to talk about links here. I think with my talk about volume that people may be missing the value of links. As I’ve stated, there are really two models to make money online with niche marketing. One is through vast quantities and the other is through a few high yielding sites.

You can make money without using too much in the way of SEO by sheer quantity. This is a viable method as I’m finding out, but it requires 100x the effort. You don’t need any as many backlinks to make money, but you make up the time you save backlinking writing content and producing sites.

There are two ways with the volume method here. You can make 20-100 small self hosted niche sites that you SEO high enough to squeeze out a few bucks per site — maybe 10-20 bucks each if you are lucky, thus getting a very good full time income, or you can just spend vast amounts of time spitting out content, using the domain authority of trusted social sites, ala hubpages, infobarrel, squidoo, etc to squeeze out little clicks and sales. A few sites wont make you any, but many hundreds and thousands will. Between the two, I’d rather go with less self hosted sites that are SEO’ed — you own your own property.

The other way is to be too look at making high quality, huge authority sites – sites that can rank very high for any related term in the niche. A site like this can generate thousands of dollars a month. It might take 2k mini sites to equal the revenue of a single, strong authority site. Tell me, what would you rather have, several thousand sites the micromanage, or one authority site? Exactly. The key to getting these authorities is backlinks. Not shitty backlinks, but backlinks from authority sites. Strong strong backlinks and lots of shitty ones. These sites can be a lot of work, and you may find out (as is the case for one of mine), that there is no payoff when you rank #1, even if you are an authority site. But if you get it right, you are fucking laughing all the way to the bank.

I’m not dicking around with thousands of mini sites for no reasons folks. My goal is not to own a significant portion of the web in terms of volume. My aim is to make 10-30k a month with small sites in revenue then start to fucking buy every authority site I can get my hands on with cold hard cash. You might want to spend a year or two building an authority site. I’m going to just buy one.

You might wonder why Grizzly owns “Make Money.” It’s because he’s been able to leverage the finances he’s made to outright buy authority sites to give him that term. It’s not always about making blog farms, getting squidoo links, and begging for blog role exchanges guys. You have to apply a business mindset to this game — you can drastically increase you productivity.

I think part of the problem most people in IM is that they don’t think in terms of business. I hate to break it to you non-business folks out there, but IM is a business. A business is all about cost, profit, and efficiency. You pay money to make money. The problem with people who start of in IM is that they are god damn so cheap they stunt their potential growth. Is it worth it to spend 2k dollars to yield 4k? Yes. Is it worth it to spend 2K to save you 4 months of labor so that you can make even more money? Yes and Yes.

Sure, get your feet wet learning the ropes in the IM world, but if you want to make some real money folks, you are going to have to spend money at some point. With all this complaining I hear people make about paying fucking 10 bucks a month for connect content membership, I don’t have a lot of hope here for some people. Some of you guys spend more buying slurpies at 7-11 a month than this. Comeone, there’s cheap and then their’s god damn stupid cheap. You should be selling your child’s soul to be getting as many backlinks as possible — anything that streamlines the process is worth a reasonable amount of money.

IM is cheap in terms of startup costs, but you are going to have to invest in outsourcing, site buying, and other such methods where trading cash for time can drastically increase your productivity.

I’m putting my money where my mouth is. If I make 6k a month in a month from now, it’s all going back into outsourcing. If I make 10k a month in 4 months, 10k a month is going back into buying sites and outsourcing, even if I have to live off of canned tuna and dog food.
Learn how to Really be an Internet Marketer

On a side note, for those people who want to take their keyword research to a level beyond, I suggest looking at Leo Dimilo’s Internet Marketing blog. Most people’s keyword research consists of looking at Google Keyword’s searches and the CPC before launching off into your niche blog production. That works, sure, but that’s like trying to see through window shade — you can make out the general form, but the details guys, the details are missing. The difference can mean success and failure or a CTR that’s through the roof or near the ground. So go learn from one of the best Internet Marketer guides I’ve seen online.
Backlink Experiment

I’m doing an experiment with one of my friends from Web SEO regarding the effectiveness of Backlink networks. Basically, I’m selecting 45 hubs and Web SEO will be submitting, on my behalf, unique articles to AMA, BS, and LinkVana networks for each of those 45 hubs. Over the course of 3 months, this should really increase the traffic and ranking of the hubs. So I’ll be following the progress of these hubs and post some results in a couple months.

Web SEO’s service is very useful for people who want to use backlink networks but can’t afford the monthly fees (which can be substantial). For a reasonable price, you can select which \backlink network you would like to submit your site to (or a combination of them) and supply the keywords and the sites to link to. The guys over at Web SEO will handle the content creation and submission process! A painless way to increase your rankings and traffic, without having to spend all that time writing articles and paying high monthly fees.

Note:  when you go to the Web SEO site, you have to register to see the actual page — the guys want to keep out unwanted visitors. So just register an account to see the actual site.
Other Stuff

My snipers are doing ok. So far, no sales, but I’m getting more traffic an hops. I have roughly 20 sites. I am waaay behind on my goal here, mainly because these take such a long time to create. I need to get my 100 sites out as fast as possible. I’ve also entered some of the most competitive niches, which may not have been a good idea. For my next 80 sites, I’m going to look for obscure but profitable niches to enter into. These sites are all about being able to land on the front page right away for your term – and the term has to be a keyword where people are willing to shell out money. I’m keen to start making money with these, and I’m going to have to really light a fire under my ass to get 100 done soon. I can’t wait for my first sale.

Ok, that’s it for today folks.

Making Money, Internet Marketing, and Outsourcing

Ok, this is probably a record breaking post in terms of length — so grab a couple beers and sit down for a long ride.

So I want to talk a bit about outsourcing today. There comes a point where, after spending 15 hours a day writing about yeast infections, midget thongs, and galactic warrior star trek leotards, you look at your blistered fingers and say “fuck it”. I reached the “fuck it” point last week. See, it’s not worth my time grinding out articles all day, every day – I can be far more productive finding keywords, getting backlinks, and setting up sites — and by not having permanent finger damage.

You too, if you survive the MMO journey, will arrive at a similar point. So what’s that point where you hire a writer to do your dirty work? For some people, you may hate writing articles so much that you outsource everything from the start.

I don’t recommend this.

You see, before you drop the money on outsourcing, you need to find your way a bit. You should, at least until you are making money online, have pretty close connection with your article writing so that you find out what works and what doesn’t. As exciting as it may be to imagine you can throw down 2000 bucks on articles and instantly make a killing online, this is not the way to go.

Why? Because making money online is MORE than just creating hubpages, info barrels, blogs, or whatever. It’s a SKILL. You can put up content and make hubs, but if you don’t know how to pick winning niches, you are going to waste a lot of money.

The only way to get this ability is to really just keep on throwing mud out there until something sticks to the wall. Once something sticks, you figure out WHAT makes it sticks and repeat the process, but this time more mud will stick. On and one.

Guys, this doesn’t happen by luck. It’s a skill – one that takes time to develop. Yes folks, making money on the Internet is a skill like any other. The more you do it the better you get – hopefully. When you first start, you don’t know what the fuck you are doing. You fumble around, get lost, and generally go in the wrong direction. But as you start to “figure it out” and make a bit of money, one success leads to another and before you know it, you are making a lot of money. You are confident of success in your MMO ventures. You know what brings that confidence? A past history of success. But before you succeed, you are probably going to fail. A lot.

I keep on seeing people reading up on how to make money online but actually never doing anything because “what if my website fails to make any money”? Guys, if you all your failure costs is 7 bucks for a domain name, 30 bucks for a year of hosting, and some wasted time, you’ve gotten off pretty damn easy. What about people who fucking lose their house and get put out onto the street because their business fails. You want to explain to a person who mortgaged his home for a dream why you can’t pursue your dream because you might lose 50 bucks?
How to Make Money through Keyword Research

I hear a lot of blogger types talking about how great content will make you rich. Nope. You can have great content, but if it’s not targeting money making niches, you won’t make anything at all. This is what “bloggers” do – they rationalize a sort of blogging field of dreams scenario where if you build a website with great content, people will come. Yes, this certainly may happen, but this is highly dependent on exactly what sort of content we are talking about. If you are talking about your day at work, the only person who fucking cares will be your mom.

Great content is well…great, but it also needs focus. You need to write great content about content that offers to solve (or point somewhere in the direction of) a problem.

Great Content + No Keyword Research = Salvation Army, living with parents, flipping burgers

But on the other side of the coin we have:

Great Content + Keyword Research = Babes, Beer, and Boats

It’s funny because that while shills like John Clown (who just somehow shams his way back into ranking for Make Money Online) and Pro (Bull Shit) Blogger talk their bullshit about great content making you rich, many bloggers online claim that they are not making any money at all. I was browsing the Adsense forums the other day and a couple people where talking about how it was impossible to make a full time income with Adsense unless you have 200K + page impressions each day. I had to laugh; I make a full time income off a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of that.

Bloggers think that traffic = money.

Not so. Traffic is just traffic. Targeted traffic makes money and targeted traffic that are desperate for a solution make a LOT of money. You see there are three types of traffic I’ve found.

1. Untargeted traffic (digg, reddit, stumbleupon)

2. Targeted traffic (organic search engine traffic)

3. Targeted “desperate” traffic (search traffic that REALLY need a solution)

Which one makes the most money folks? In my personal experience, I have found my sites that brings in targeted “desperate” visitors make 100 x the profit of my other sites with roughly the same amount of targeted but not desperate traffic. Now, keep in mind there is a LOT of variation here, depending on the niche – so this 100 x is not an “accurate” formula by any means — it’s just my personal situation. But hands down, desperate targeted traffic will make you a hell of a lot more money than just targeted traffic.

If you want to make GOOD money with Adsense (or affiliate products) you need to pick out some topics that can make some money here. Grandma’s fantastic cookie recipe and rocking chair cradles may fascinate you, but you won’t find too many other people interested in these topics. Now, I’ve had people ask me to look at their niches and offer some suggestions. One thing I tend to notice is that you guys tend to pick niches where there is no need at all.

You want to know how to make money online? You target desperate people who are royally fucked if they don’t get help soon. Yea, were talking about that poor kid with acne so bad he’s got to wear a bag when he goes outside. Or that old lady with cancer who has four months left to live.

So what’s the secrete of getting this targeted desperate traffic? Niche selection. This type of traffic is really just organic search traffic, but terms being search for have a lot of need associated with them.

Need folks, it’s all about need. The more need, the more clicks you get. Think about it for a second and it makes a lot of sense. Now, I’m not saying only target niches where people are going to croak in a few days if they don’t quickly click on the “instantly cure cancer with miracle apple seeds” ad that comes up. But you should look for those types of niches.

Still stuck? Ok, I’ll give you a super secret formula. But first, you just need to sign up for a shitty affiliate product that does absolutely shit. Just kidding.

So here it is what I ask myself before creating a niche site. If, pretending to be my theoretical visitor, I answer YES, I create the site for that keyword:

Will my life, some part of my life, or the life of someone I know, just plain suck if I don’t find a solution?

Simple eh? But oh so effective. I’ve found this works wonders for scoring clicks.  So go out and spread the gospel of your newly-discovered-only-found-in the-Himalayan-mountains cancer cure to the world, heal the faithful of their yeast infections and chunky hemroids, and spread the gospel of crap.

Now, facetiousness aside, there are some ethics to be considered here. As easy as it is to write some pure bullshit about going to sleep with Pepsi and honey smeared all over your face to cure acne, you should at least strive for a verisimilitude of honesty here. I confess to writing quite a lot of bullshit myself as an internet marketer (ok, a lot of bullshit. My current click bank scheme consist of utter and complete lies), but if someone poor bloke is dying of anal cancer, don’t fucking tell him to he’ll be cured by drinking green tea and listening to Raffy songs.
How to Make Money Online through Outsourcing

Ok, what was I talking about. Outsourcing, yes. Ok, so when to outsource. I suggest if you are making $500-$1000 or more a month, it’s worth considering outsourcing. Why? Because at that point, you know how to make money online. It’s simply a matter of replicating exactly what you are doing many many times over.

I stated in my last post that you should treat IM as a business – and it’s true. If you approach making money online as a business, you get work done and you get results. Set tangible goals and work towards them. You see me doing that here on this blog. I’ve stated I want to see 20k a month in less than a year. Impossible, right? Nope. Sure, I may not reach that go, but I’m going to damn well get as close as possible. If you are going to throw a god damn stone, make sure you flinging it as far as you can.

Now, one of the problems is to find a decent place to outsource. You might notice if you browse around places like Warrior forums that there are some cheap articles to be had. You might even see articles going for .80c -$1.00. Great deal right?

Nope and I’ll tell you why. The articles you’ll get won’t be in English, but Klingon. Folks, these type of articles have the quality level of an article produced if Jabba the Hut did twenty minutes with Dragon Naturally Speaking. Yea, that bad.

So avoid this shit because it is shit. Can you actually buy anything for .80 cents these days? Try leaving an .80 tip at an Italian restaurant. I can tell you for sure that next time you come back, that “cream” in your alfredo sauce is not really cream…

For a decent quality article, you are probably going to pay between 5-6 bucks. Were not talking award winning articles here or even articles your 12th grade English teacher would be proud of, but they get the job done.

This is an issue I’ve had to face because I’m pretty much trying to outsource most of my work now, focusing on developing sites and putting up articles. I’m looking at spending 2-4k USD a month here. Now, I want quality but I don’t want to pay 5-6 bucks an article. At 5 bucks an article, 3k USD will land me roughly 600 articles. Get it down to 4 bucks and it’s 750. 3 bucks and its 1000 articles a month.

Yes, my goal is to produce 1000 or so articles a month for the next 5-6 months. That’s roughly 5k-6k targeted articles. That’s a lot of content to handle. While I could permanently damage my hands over the next 5 months, I’d prefer that someone else lose their fingers, not me.

Can I get good quality articles (400-450) for 3 bucks only? Yep, I can and I have been. I’ve decided to share my source, since I notice many of you guys are struggling too.
The Best Outsourcing Resource I’ve Found

So I’ve been getting a lot of people asking me what I’m using to outsource my articles and If I’m willing to share. Sure. I’ve been using Human Rewriter for the past week to outsource stupid amounts of articles. This place is a fantastic article rewriting service. You can basically take any articles you find online…PLA articles…..your own articles…whatever, etc and submit the articles to them and get, within 24-36 hours, a unique article/s back.  The article/s passes copyscape. What I REALLY like is that this happens through an interface — every step is tied together so conveniently.

First you buy some credits. Then you can past the article you want rewritten into a form with keywords and the titles. You are given an instant quote (charge by sentence) and you can then spend a minute or so editing the article to get a cheaper price and submit. I find with 2 minutes of editing the sentence, I can get 450-470 words for about 3 credits (3 bucks). Not bad at all. Once the article are rewritten, you are notified. You can then log onto the website to see the article, line by line, compared against the original. If you are not happy with a sentence, you can reject that sentence with the click of a button. Easy!

How’s the quality? Stellar. I’ve dropped a 1k bucks on these guys over the weekend already and I’ve gotten hundreds of high quality articles back – much better than the shit you find on textbroker.com, or god forbid, warrior forums. You get the articles back FAST. It’s been 2 days for me to get 200 articles back since I first submitted them.

There are a few cool features as well.

They have built in spinner so you can auto  “spin” the rewritten article (I don’t recommend you do this for anything but third tier blogs — certainly NOT on your adsense sites) for even milage as far as unique content goes.  These auto spinners produce crap though, so be warned.

Another unique feature that’s actually usefull is that for another buck or two per article, you can get them to add a spin notation to each line (up to 4 words per sentence to be put into spin notation with up to four word choices choices each of those spin notated words.) That adds a LOT of unique content milage. The auto spinner produces garbage, but if you actually get them to add manually add 4 spin notated words with 4 different choices for your article (for every sentence in your article), you get an article that’s well written and can produce MANY different unique versions of itself.  You can then use the unique, rewritten and spun-notated  article they return to then generate a lot of unique versions of it. This is great is you need articles for Unique Article Wizard, AMA, or some support blogs.

If you sign up, you get a free 5 dollar trial which is enough for 1 or 2 articles to test the service out with. If you do decide to throw down some coin after that, use the coupon code “warrior” (lower case) to get 10 free credits (if you spend 25 bucks). If you spend 25 bucks + request free trial + use the coupon, you get basically 40 bucks worth of articles for 25 bucks. At 3 bucks for a 450 word article, that’s 13 or so articles — not bad at all!

So if you are looking to solve your outsourcing problems for cheap, use Human Rewriter, it’s the best I’ve found so far and I’m using it for thousands of dollars. Now the downside is that you actually have to find an article and submit it to be rewritten. But, considering the price and the quality and the whole interface that ties the process together, it’s not bad – I’m doing it for thousands of articles.

That’s an affiliate link by the way, so do sign up with it so I can buy a coffee or something to pay for the 3 hours of lost work it took to write this post.
Ethics in IM

Now, I wanted to bring up the ethics issue here, especially in regards to rewriting. I’m getting a lot of questions about whether you can take an article found on say an article directory and rewrite it for your own websites, blogs, etc.  You can, I feel, because the article passes copyscape and is thus defined, according to the web, as unique.  Now, I would certainly not take someone’s ebook or some famous novel and rewrite it, trying to pass it off as mine. But for website content, it’s certainly fine. Now don’t be an idiot use something like the service I mentioned above to rewrite someone else’s essay to be turned into your teacher, but for IM purposes, you can save a lot of time and money by rewriting. Most IM’ers do this. It comes down to your own decision about what you feel comfortable with.

The brutal truth is that there is a slider between ethics and money, the more that slider moves towards ethics, the less money you are going to make. You need to clearly define where your personal ethics lay. If you want to be purely ethical, well promoting affiliate products by lying or writing about topics and giving advice to people that you have absolutely not fucking clue about is probably out of the question.

But I’m going to tell you that an purely ethical Internet Marketer is a poor one. If you can’t part with your ethics a bit, you may want to look at starting a few authority blogs about real topics or developing a web business — you can make money that doesn’t require a breach in your ethics.

Again, I want to reiterate that you should focus on pumping out high quality content, regardless of whether your write it yourself or rewrite other article or commission someone else to rewrite/write. You should never sacrifice the quality of writing just to get “more out there”; each article should deliver some value and be as well written as possible.

Frankly, if you are decent writer, nothing is going to match just hunkering down and doing the writing yourself, but at a certain level, it’s not practical to do so any more. And if your budget has no limit, then by all means pay 10-15 bucks for an original fantastically written article.

But given a choice between someone else’s shitty rewritten crap showing up for a search and my own well written rewritten content show up, I’d rather it be mine.

I’m not saying be an unethical person, but you *may* have to compromise your ethics a bit in this game to make some money. If that makes writing fake reviews or rewriting article directory content for your own websites, well there are worse things out there folks, trust me. But ultimately, I’d rather give YOU guys the information and let you make the decision than to try and hide you guys from what goes on or from a resource you can take advantage of.

If you really do have a problem with the ethics of rewriting, then got a hold of PLA content and use services like the one I mentioned above with abandon or rewrite it yourself — there is no problem at all, ethically or legally with this.
CLICK BANK SNIPERS

Time to get back into the slimy side of internet marketing. You know, I am becoming quite attached to my midget thong. You really should consider buying one from me.

So yea, I’m starting this project back up again this week sometime. It’s been delayed about a week because I’ve been trying to get 400 articles outsourced then posted up and that’s been taking a while. I hope to have all these articles posted to my websites by Thursday. After that, it’s midget thong selling time.

I’ve avoided really going into the fine details of how I’m trying to sell my bullshit and get my sites ranked. Frankly, until I start to see some money, I’m not going to “teach” someone anything about this. I only want to show other people stuff that works for me. Click bank can make you a killing, but you have to have the right niches. I spend 10 or so websites in the wrong niche and I’m still waiting to see what’s going to happen with my other 10. My next 80 or so are going to be in different niches. Once you find a niche that gets sales, it’s just a matter of milking the hell out of it.
Adsense Snipers

With my hubpage success and info barrel success, I want to turn my attention to Adsense snipers. Now, I’ve personally seen that with a few “tricks” you can rank pretty high with self hosted domains for low to mid competition terms (1k-10k exact) without too much in the way of backlinks. Now, I’m not saying backlinks are not important, but with a very minimal number of them, it’s possible to get a niche blog on the front page and getting traffic in as little as a day to a week. I’m going to fling 100-150 of these sites out there and see what fruits I can scrape off the ground. I’m going after the low hanging longtails. I’ve seen this work with the click bank snipers sites and I’m predicting I can make a killing with a 100 or 200 adsense self hosted blogs. My aim is to get 1 – 2 clicks a day for each site. With 100 – 200 of those, that’s a full time income. I am really sort of applying my hub strategy to my own blogs. I may make 100 self hosted blogs in a month followed by 100 bogger.com blogs the next month – all following the same strategy. I am VERY excited to try this out. I still need to finish my click bank project and make some damn money out of it, but this is, I think, the next “experiment” on my plate.
Info Barrel Experiment

Ok, so I’ve very keen to see how much money I can make with info barrel over the next couple months. I have about 100 articles up so far, and I’m probably taking in 7-10 bucks a day on average with no backlinks. Over the next 2 months, I’m going to put up another 400 info barrels and work on some backlinks. I am confident that I can squeeze out 30 – 60 bucks a day (maybe more) with about 500 or so articles and some backlinks. This is my “side project.”

I’ve also noticed that info barrels seem to rank higher than hubpages. Which leads to my mini challenge:
Hubpages vs InfoBarrel

So, I’m going to write two 400 word articles with the same title and same number of long tails and post them at the same time. Over the next month, we are going to compare which articles get indexed faster and which ranks higher. I’m going to put my money on InfoBarrels because I’m finding that they often outrank the hubs they are supporting.

Now, lucky for you guys, I am going to create a new hubpage ID and a new info barrel ID and post them for you guys to see. Everyone will be able to see for themselves which article ranks higher. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how to write for Adsense and how to layout hubs/info barrels. Well, I’m going to show you directly now.

I’ll update this section with LINKS to my hubpage and infobarrel articles tomorrow, so check back.
How to REALLY Make Money Online

Will MMO, you have to have a bit of dedication. Most people want results now. Perhaps it’s the society we live in that seeks instant gratification for almost everything, but if you are going to be sorely disappointed if you start a couple websites and expect the cash to come rolling in the next day. Nope, won’t happen.

But if you keep on going at it, something will happen. It might not be next week, next month, or even 6 months from now, but if you keep smashing a rock with a hammer, eventually it’s going to shatter.

Once you get around 10 – 15 bucks a day, something clicks in your head and you have an “oh” moment. It dawns on you that yes, YOU yourself can actually make money on the internet. It’s one thing to hear other people talk about making money, but when YOU start to make a bit the wheels of your head spin and it all becomes real to you.

So how do you get to that 15 dollar a day point? A lot of hard hard work. Getting that first 1000 a month in the hardest part. If there is a proper analogy for MMO, it’s that MMO is a dessert. If you can just cross that dessert and reach the other side, you can make money. The problem is, getting to that other side is tough – pretty damn tough. There are a lot of skeletons you’ll see along the way – those burn outs that start voyage so full of passion but they find out part way that MMO is a lot of work and not easy money, they give up.

About a year ago, I started out doing IM with a friend. We were both pretty passionate about living on the beach while earning money – who wouldn’t be? Well, our dreams of drinking coconut juice and flirting while Thai girls seemed pretty much only that after 3 months of hard work and not a dollar to show. The difference is that I continued to work at it while my friend threw in the towel. What has he done in 4 months? Let’s see…talk about making money.

What have I done? 700 hubpages, 200 info barrels and 30 self hosted blogs.

That’s a lot of difference folks. You know what? He’s STILL talking about making money. Just not right now you know? Next month, when the weather’s not as hot or maybe when he’s got some spare time. Yea, and YOU are going back to the gym next week too, right? We’ve all heard that bullshit before. It’s called giving up.

Guys, if you want to something in life, you have to seize it with both hands and don’t let go. I’m not just talking MMO here, but everything. You know why? Because anything worth having in this life takes work, takes sweat, and takes effort.

Guys, you want that perfect six pack – you are going to have to work your ass off for 6 months to a year. Overweight and want to look like Brad Pitt in tights? Sorry, those click bank diet pills I’ve been hawking don’t fucking work. The only way to achieve anything of value is through sweat and sacrifice.

Guys, this principle applies to everything in life – including MMO. If you are the sort of person who likes to make New Year’s resolutions, then you better do some soul searching and evict that bullshit or fucking give up – either do it or don’t even try. There is no compromise here.

That mountain in high guys, but if you can take the first step, you’ll find the next step in reach. Over and over and soon enough, you‘ve climbed the fucking stairs.

Work hard and make money online
